Guide · first steps

You just opened your company. Now what?

Three things to do first, in this order. Each one shows its price before it starts, and nothing happens until you tick the box and press “Start”.

First steps, in three moves

65 seconds, no sound needed: the three steps on the public English prototype, from the click to the result. Filmed on the shared prototype: the reports you see there are simulated. What is real, and what is not.

  1. Publish your page

    Where
In the list of actions, “Publish my site” (Plant campus).
    What you fill in
Which page (Home, Order, Contact, About, or the whole site), the address — your included name.myaicompany.io subdomain, or your own domain once registered —, a style, the languages, a form (contact, or order linked to the Town Hall), and what the page should say, in your own words.
    What it costs
60 maic for one page, 180 for the whole site; ×1.5 with a second language, ×2.2 in French, German, Italian and English. A bilingual page: 90 maic, i.e. CHF 0.90. Hosting and the subdomain are included in your subscription.
    What you get
The Studio writes the page from what you said and publishes it on your address. A report tells you what was published and what it actually cost.
  2. Add a customer, send them an invoice

    Where
Town Hall → Customers → “Add”. Then the “Invoice” button on the customer's row.
    What you fill in
For the customer: name, e-mail, phone, company, status — recording them costs nothing. For the invoice: the amount in CHF, the subject, VAT (not registered, with the notice added automatically, or 8.1%), the due date (10, 30 or 60 days) and the payment method (TWINT / card link plus QR-bill, QR-bill only, or link only).
    What it costs
8 maic per invoice, i.e. CHF 0.08. For it to carry your Swiss QR-bill, the Till (400 maic, once) and your IBAN; to get paid by TWINT or card, the Bank (1,000 maic, once) — a 5% fee on the payment, never on your credits.
    What you get
The invoice is e-mailed to your customer and filed in Town Hall → Invoices with its status. If the customer has no address or the send fails, the report says so and the invoice stays a draft.
  3. Run a customer search

    Where
    “Find customers” (Market campus).
    What you fill in
The kind of customers and the area, how many (10, 25, 50 or 100), the channel (e-mail, LinkedIn or a call list), the tone, the language, what you sell in your own words, and who to leave out — your existing customers already are.
    What it costs
20 maic, plus 4 per contact found and verified, plus 6 per e-mail drafted. 25 contacts by e-mail: 270 maic at most, i.e. CHF 2.70. A contact that cannot be verified is not charged.
    What you get
A report with the verified contacts and one e-mail drafted for each. Nothing is sent without your review, and nothing enters your Town Hall until you accept it.

Then open the report

Every finished job lands in “Reports”, on the right of the deck (at the bottom on a phone). One click opens it: what was done, what is left for you to do, and on the last line the actual cost — “Actual cost: 15 maic (quote 90, 75 returned)”.

What is real, and what is simulated

The prototype at myaicompany.io/proto/ is a shared sandbox: one fictional company, Lumen Atelier, open to everyone without an account (one in English, one in French). Everything visitors add there is wiped every three hours. Your own company is never reset.

Real, even in the prototype

  • The quote and the approval box: nothing starts without them.
  • Domain availability and prices, asked live from the registry.
  • Customers, products and invoices you enter in the Town Hall are stored (until the next reset).
  • Agents from the Bazaar actually run, a few jobs at a time.

Simulated in the prototype

  • The reports of the menu actions (site, prospecting, pitch, invoice…): they show what a delivery looks like; no agent did the work.
  • No e-mail leaves: the invoice is filed, not sent.
  • No domain is registered, no mailbox created; the credits are demonstration credits, nothing is charged.

In your company

  • Prospecting, pitches, replies and quotes are run by agents; the site is written from what you say.
  • Invoices are e-mailed; domains are registered in your name.
  • Credits are real, and only the actual cost is debited.

Prices, plainly

CHF 20 a month (≈ US$24 · €21, billed in Swiss francs): platform access and 2,000 maic every month. 1 maic = 1 cent. What you don't spend stays yours, with no time limit. Top-ups: 1,000 maic for CHF 10, 5,000 for CHF 50, 20,000 for CHF 200. Cancel anytime.

A quote is a ceiling

When you start a job, its quote is reserved, not spent. When it ends, only what was actually used is debited and the rest goes back to your balance; the report says so in plain words. A domain or a mailbox has a firm price: it is what the registry or the provider charges.

Where to get help

The assistant

Bottom right of every page of this site, and “Help” in your deck: Nina tells you where to click. She never acts for you.

By e-mail

[email protected] — a question, a bug, an invoice.

Service status

myaicompany.io/status/, if something does not respond.
